Announcing a new collaboration between Time Auction Singapore and bantu
Background of bantu
Time Auction Singapore is excited to announce a new collaboration with bantu, a cloud-based community management platform targeted at non-profits. Specifically, their platform enables non-profits to engage and deploy volunteers at ease. In doing so, it aims to alleviate the issue of volunteer retention in non-profits, and hopefully aid them in cultivating a greater number of specialist and leadership volunteers within their respective institutions.
Started in 2017 as a tech startup & social enterprise (Social Tech) in Singapore, bantu has since been featured on media platforms like The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, The New Paper, Capital 95.8FM, MediaCorp Channel 8, NUS Enterprise, 938 Live and raiSE Singapore.
So how does bantu work?
“ bantu’s technology supports the non-profit throughout the tedious processes for every volunteer project, completing the journey from pre-execution (such as sign-up and skills-matching), execution (training, communicating as a team), to post-execution (such as feedback and volunteer appreciation). ”
Achievements attained by bantu
In 2018, bantu officially launched a one-stop community management system known as bantu Workspace. It is a modern cloud-based engagement and data analytics platform to empower impact-driven organisations to coordinate, manage, engage, and communicate more effectively with their volunteers.
Since the establishment of bantu Workspace, it has been used by 70 over non-profits in Singapore such as WWF, Guide Dogs Singapore, Zero Waste SG, Deaf Sports Association, AMKFSC, Life Community Services and Over The Rainbow.
So why bantu?
“ Because we believe helping others should be easy. ”
To date, bantu’s community has more than 10,000 volunteers that have been managed by bantu Workspace. Aligned to Time Auction’s mission to encourage volunteerism with inspiring experiences, we believe that the collaboration with bantu will allow both organizations to create a network of great communities and societies together!
